Sanchez Tosses in 22 and the Loboettes Cruise by Lake View 72-to-18

Lelani Sanchez tossed in four threes in a career high 22 on Friday night as the #6 Levelland Loboettes cruised by San Angelo Lake View 72-to-18. The win moves the Loboettes to 25-and-three on the year and five-to-oh in the district.

It was over when it started as Levelland raced out to a 21-to-six lead after one quarter and stretched the lead to 39-to-ten by halftime.

Lake View would get just eight second half points as hung 36 turnovers on the Maidens and cruised in for the 72-to-18 win.

That win moves the #6 Levelland Loboettes to 25-and-three on the season and five-and-oh in the district while San Angelo Lake View drops to two-and-23 on the season and oh-and-five in district at the turn.

Lelani Sanchez hit four threes in a career high 22 while Destynii Jones scored ten off the bench and Emery Smith added ten more on the back of two threes. Laci White added eight while Carly Tienda got five and Angelica Gonzales and Ellie Phillips added four each. Mia Morin got down three and Adrenna Galvin, Olivia Velardez and Madison Stafford added two each in the win.

San Angelo Lake View was led by Amber Garivay as she connected on six-of-six from the free throw line and scored eight in the loss.

Levelland got off 75 shots in the win creating extra possessions on 29 offensive rebounds and 36 Maiden turnovers.

The Loboettes would scored 25 off the glass and 27 more on the turnovers.

The San Angelo Lake View Maidens slip to two-and-23 on the year and oh-and-five in the district as they host Snyder on Tuesday and travel to Sweetwater on Friday.

The #6 Levelland Loboettes are 25-and-three on the year and host Big Spring on Monday night before traveling to Snyder on Friday.

Games with Big Spring that were set for Tuesday January 24th have been moved to Monday January 23rd due to weather moving into the area.

Games will begin on Monday evening at 5:00pm.
