Lobos Win Final Non-District Contest, Levelland Over Lubbock Home School

The Levelland Lobos closed the non-district schedule on Friday night with 54-to-42 over Lubbock Home School a and moved the Lobos to ten-and-six on the schedule going into district play on Tuesday.

While the Lobos led 11-to-ten after one quarter, Lubbock Home School outscored Levelland 11-to-eight in the second and the Titans lead 31-to-30 at the half.

Both got 12 in the third but the Lobo defense would hold the Titans to just nine points while Levelland got seven from Caleb Salazar, five from Isaiah Salazar and four each from Kaleb Penner and Zaiden LeCroy. It was a 23-to-nine run the in final eight minutes to lead the Lobos to the 54-to-42 win.

Levelland put four in double figures as Zaiden LeCroy scored 12, Isaiah Salazar and Bryant White connected on 11 each and Caleb Salazar added ten in the win. Kaleb Penner and Taeshawn Jones scored four each and Hunter Read scored two for the Lobos.

The win moves Levelland to ten-and-six overall as the Lobos open up district play on Tuesday at San Angelo Lakeview.
