Lobos and Loboettes Run Sixth at Lubbock Invite

Addysyn Hill led the Loboettes on Saturday with a 11th place finish at the Lubbock Invitational

Addysyn Hill paced the Loboettes on Saturday in the 2020 Lubbock Invitational as the Lobos and Loboettes both ran sixth in the 4A Region One packed field.

Hill turned a time on 13:52.4 for 11th place overall while McKenna Ruiz ran 24th, Crystal Castellanos took 31st, Lynzee Cox ran 35th and Kaydence Escarcega added 36th as the Loboettes carded 137 points.

Canyon took the team gold for the ladies at 27 points placing four in the top six. Hereford ran second at 76 points while Canyon’s Abree Winfrey took the individual gold at 12:24.10.

Alexis Mendez ran the fast time for Levelland at 20:14.50 in 21st place. Gabriel Nieland ran 24th, Jose Ramirez 28th, Nick Martinez 33 and Matt Bautista in 38th. Levelland totaled 144 points for sixth place.

Andrews took the top spot as a team with 35 points as the Mustangs put four runners in the top ten.

Canyon took second as Eagle Samuel Ashley took the individual gold in 16:48.60. Canyon scored 40 points as a team.
