The Levelland Loboettes hosted Lubbock Estacado on Friday and behind a nine run second inning, the Loboettes defeated Lubbock Estacado 13-to-three in five innings and have clinched a playoff spot for 2018.

Levelland got all they would need early as back-to-back singles from Miranda Villegas and Val Maravilla started a nine run landslide in the bottom of the second. Kriston Montgomery would follow with a double to left and Mia Rendon chased in another run on a triple to left. Skyler Alvarez would reach on an error and score on a triple to right from Ashley Lopez. Mica Contreras would ring the bell next on a two run homerun to center driving the score to seven-to-nothing. Miranda Villegas would follow with a second two run homerun and before the dust settled Levelland led nine-to-nothing after two innings.

That would be plenty but the Loboettes would add one in the third, one in the fourth and two more in the fifth while Estacado would get their three in the top of the fifth. It allowed the contest to be settled in five innings with Levelland winning 13-to-three.

Levelland got 13 runs on 14 hits with two errors while Lubbock Estacado scored three runs on three hits with three errors.
