Anthony Blasts Two Home Runs and Palomin Goes a Solid Five, Levelland Downs Lovington 12-2 in Five to Move to Seven-and-Six

Logan Anthony went deep twice for the Lobos on Tuesday!

The Levelland Lobos ended a long home stand last night and while Logan Anthony went deep twice for the Lobos, Justin Palomin threw a solid five for Levelland and the Lobos picked up a 12-to-two win to move to seven-and-six on the year.

Levelland scored in the first off a Zack Estrada walk and stolen base and a RBI double from Tanner Marrow. Logan Anthony added a solo homerun to left in the second to put Levelland in front two-to-nothing after two.

Levelland came off the hinge in the fourth sending 11 to the plate and behind a two run homerun from Logan Anthony, his second of the game, a double from Tanner Marrow and singles from Angel Pena, Zak Betancourt, Jerrson Hernandez, Tristan VanZandgt and Jorge Mendiaz, the Lobos hung seven runs and led after four 9-to-1.

Levelland scratched across two more in the fifth to end the contest in a 12-to-2 win in five innings.

Levelland bashed out 12 runs on 11 hits with two errors and four left while Lovington got two runs off five fits with four errors and four left.

Justin Palomin tossed a solid five on Tuesday night.

Levelland got a solid start from Justin Palomin as he tossed all five on 55 pitches allowing two runs on five hits, two walks, a hit batter and two strike outs.

The Levelland Lobos got two homeruns and three RBI from Logan Anthony while Angel Pena drove in two on a three hit night and Tanner Marrow doubled twice for the Lobos.

Levelland moves to seven-and-six on the year and takes to the road for the first time since February 19th as Lobos head to the Melissa Tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
