Lobos Head into Regional Quarterfinals Tonight in Lubbock

February 27, 2018

LobosAreaChampionshipThe Levelland Lobos have had a very productive season and even after graduating all but one off a loaded 2016-2017 roster, the all new Levelland Lobos have battled their way through a loaded district and two rounds of playoffs to reach the 2018 4A Region One Quarterfinals tonight at the Rip Griffin Center in Lubbock.

The Levelland Lobos find a familiar foe as they meet the #10 Seminole Indians at the Rip Griffin Center at Lubbock Christian University.

The Levelland Lobos come in at 22-and-ten on the year with playoff wins over Pampa and Fort Stockton while Seminole comes in at 24-and-eight on the year with playoff wins over Perryton and Clint.

Of course, both teams hail from the 4A District Two and therefore have already met twice with Seminole winning both previous meetings 58-to-47 and 50-to-45.

Levelland Cheer has a send off for the Lobos planned tonight as Levelland Lobos will leave Levelland High School at 4:50pm and travel west on Hickory Street to College Avenue, College Avenue North to US 114 and east toward Lubbock.

Get out and cheer on your Levelland Lobos as they make their way to the Rip Griffin Center on the campus of Lubbock Christian University.

Game time is set for 6:30pm with Lobo Pregame Show at 6:00pm on KLVT AM1230 and http://www.klvtradio.com.
